This past Tuesday, we conducted a trial run of a 400mm PVC-O pipe extrusion line. In preparation for the test, the heating process started early. The entire procedure proceeded smoothly, from material extrusion in the extruder to the core stages of the calibration tank. Unlike the 250mm pipe extrusion line, the 400mm line utilizes an eight-claw haul-off machine due to its larger diameter. The subsequent debugging process focused on achieving the target parameters for the pipe’s outer diameter and wall thickness. Portuguese clients also participated, engaging in learning and exchange throughout the production line. The trial run concluded as a complete success.
